The Certified Professional in Learning & Performance (CPLP™) offered by the ASTD Certification Institute offers workplace learning and performance (WLP) professionals an opportunity to enhance credibility and prove value in an increasingly competitive marketplace. The credential is two parts, the first is a knowledge based exam and the second, the submission of a work product reviewed by a panel of experts in the field. Individuals who pass both parts earn the right to use the CPLP™ designation that signifies they have met rigorous requirements and are certified. 

Becoming CPLP™ certified enhances your reputation by recognizing that you have met the

performance standards, have an overall understanding of the body of knowledge and can apply what you know. Credentials can benefit individuals by providing a roadmap for professional development, enhancing earning potential and broadening career opportunities. In only its second year of operation, already Fortune 500 companies are preferring CPLP™ candidates when hiring.

We are starting a study group to enhance our learning of the ASTD Learning System for the CPLP Knowledge exam. We will meet once a week for approximately 20 weeks and will thoroughly study for the CPLP learning materials to give us the best chance of passing the exam for the September 2010 and November 2010 testing window.
